We fabricate and install countertops in Nairobi: granite, quartz, marble and terrazzo. Nairobi Countertops Experts is simply the Swahili for stone.
Fabricator, not supplier
Most countertop businesses in Nairobi sell stone. That is a legitimate trade and it is a different one. Our work starts after you have chosen a slab: templating your kitchen as built, cutting and polishing, placing seams by agreement, making cutouts in the workshop rather than on your floor, and sealing before we leave.
How we work
- We template only after the base units are installed and levelled, never from a drawing.
- Rates are published per square foot and per square metre, because Kenyan quotes mix units.
- Seam positions are agreed on the slab before cutting, with the veining shown either side.
- We take clients to the yard to choose the actual slab on granite and marble.
- Every top is sealed at handover and you are told the reseal interval.
- Staged payments with an M-Pesa receipt at each stage.
What we will tell you
That marble etches and sealing will not stop it. That quartz scorches under a hot pan. That your existing worktop may only need regrinding and resealing rather than replacing. None of those help us sell the most expensive option, and all of them are true.
Credentials and the warranty
Registration, insurance and the workmanship warranty period are on the quotation in writing before we template. The quotation also names the material, the slab thickness and the edge profile, because those three decide the price far more than the brand on the invoice does.
Ask any fabricator what the warranty says about seams and about chipping at the sink cutout. Those are the two places a worktop fails, and a warranty silent on both is not really a warranty.
