Send us the run lengths
Length and depth of each run in metres is enough for a rate. We convert it to square feet, apply the band and give you a range before anyone visits, then take you to the yard to choose the actual slab.
Useful things to include
- Run lengths and depth: standard is 600mm, islands are usually deeper
- Whether there is an island, and roughly how big
- Sink type: undermount, inset or countertop, and the model if you have it
- Whether the kitchen units are already installed and levelled
- Any upstands or splashbacks you want in the same material
Work out your own area first
Length × depth in metres gives square metres. Multiply by 10.76 for square feet. A 3-metre run at 600mm deep is 1.8 m², about 19 square feet, apply the rate on the granite prices page and you have a sanity check before anyone quotes you.
